HAZWOPER 24 hour training has been developed by OSHA to protect workers handling hazardous substances at work sites and devised an extensive regulation for their safety and health. Our
24 hour HAZWOPER training has been accepted by OSHA for online distribution.
Note: Workers must have the 24 hours of initial training and one day of supervised field experience before they are allowed to enter the site. The
online HAZWOPER training course meets the standard requirement of 24 hours of initial training. The one day field experience under a well trained, experienced supervisor is the trainee's employer or potential employer’s responsibility.
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course is designed to meet the requirements for the certification under 29 CFR, Part 1910.120 (e). The
24 hour HAZWOPER training is ideal for workers visiting an Uncontrolled Hazardous Waste Operation as mandated by the Government. This
24 hour HAZWOPER course will help and protect workers at the hazardous sites. It will assist them to identify various hazards and suggests possible preventive measure and precaution to diminish and eliminate work site hazards
Seat Time: This course has been accepted for 24 hours of initial training.

Learning Outcomes:
- Understand the purpose of OSHA and its role in regulating occupational safety
- Familiarize with materials, explosive, chemical or radiological hazards compounds and mixtures that may present flammable.
- Implementation of procedures for treating workers in the event of hazardous exposure
- Use Site Characterization to establish problems existing in your workplace and measures that can be implemented to eliminate hazards
- Encourage the use of Material Safety Data sheets (MSDS) to identify and properly handle hazardous materials
- Emphasize the importance of personal protective equipment to limit hazardous exposure
- Establish an effective Site Control Program to limit the risk of exposure to only those working in the hazardous work zone
- Identify hazardous materials existing in the workplace and the possible methods, symptoms and preventative measures of exposure

QUIZZES and TESTING:
At the end of each module, there is a quiz in which the trainee must acquire at least 70% of minimum score to progress to the next module.
There is also a final quiz at the end of the course which the trainees must take and with the same 70% minimum score to clear the exam. If the student is not able to clear the final exam on the first try then there are two additional attempts to clear the exam at no additional charge.
After successful completing the 24 hour
HAZWOPER training course, trainees will receive the certification of completion.
